Updated Trash / Recycling Policy
Updated: March 21, 2023
Trash and Recycling are to be placed in the designated area between 6PM Sunday evening and 6AM Monday morning for Monday Morning trash collection from the city of Warren.
If a holiday falls on a Monday, trash will be picked up on a Tuesday. If you are in doubt, consult with the City of Warren.
Garbage must be placed in a sturdy plastic bag and securely tied.
Recycling must be placed in the red container, available from the city of Warren, or in a secure bag and taken to appropriate locations during the same hours.
Please return your containers to your condo by the end of the day on Monday.
Trash, recycling, or recycling containers may not be stored on patios, balconies, or common areas.
Recycling containers or trash cans must be placed in your unit's basement storage or within your unit.
The city of Warren has provided a list of recyclables, please check the bulletin board in your condo building for the list.
Violation of this has been an ongoing problem, regardless of warning to residents, so we have resorted to fining residents for these infractions, with the hope of stopping mis-behavior. The trash is attracting squirrels and rats, and it requires board members (who are unpaid volunteers) to clean up or pay additional money for removal.
Dumpsters have been removed because of abuse of use by residents, and complaints by neighbors.
FINES:
Anyone who violates this policy will be fined accordingly:
1st violation: $100
2nd Violation: $300
3rd Violation: $1000
Additional infractions or failure to pay these fines will result in eviction or foreclosure proceedings. If you are a renter, you can expect that your landlord will pass this fee along to you.
If you have any questions or if you want to report someone who is in violation of these rules, you can contact the association by email at: contactcoachlight@gmail.com, or call or text us at the association phone: 586.751.1210
Thank you for your cooperation!
Your board members,
Eddie Ajini, Carter Fox, Denise Carter, Mark Koroi and Laura Klindt
